Networks allow data to be shared between multiple PC’s and can provide shared access to email and internet.
If you feel your business could benefit from allowing shared access to files, email and the internet then as a minimum you will need Ethernet sockets close to each PC and an Ethernet switch box. Attaching a broadband enabled router to the switch will then allow you to share a single internet connection among all PC’s on the network. A server can be attached to the switch at any point to allow shared access to files and resources. See Small Business Servers.
